Open Curtain Film Festival is an annual silent film festival that takes place in Berlin, Germany. The idea was to create a graphic system from Onomatopoeias.

Sound effects play a huge role in the understanding of an action, and since sound effects were popular in the silent film era, the graphic system focuses on Onomatopoeias derived from the titles of these movies. The project focuses on the importance of these Onomatopoeias, thus the repetition of those sounds in brackets. The color tints are inspired from the concept of tinting movies in this particular era for the purpose of setting moods.
